Our process begins with a detailed evaluation of your facility’s lubrication systems.
Our process begins with a detailed evaluation of your facility’s lubrication systems. It is an essential step that enables us to develop a customized Reliability Roadmap for the optimization of the performance of your facility. In cooperation with your team, our Lubefix experts will focus on the following elements to assess the current practices:
  1. Review of Standards‚ Consolidation, and Procurement – to understand the setting of facility lubricant standards and to evaluate the best practices regarding lubrication and procurement procedures.
  2. Lubricant Storage and Handling - to examine the ways of storage of facility lubricants and to explore the distribution and dispensing procedures for the equipment.
  3. Sampling Techniques – to review sampling techniques and equipment of the lubricant
  4. Education‚ Training and Skills Management – to evaluate materials of facility training through interviews with employees and observation of employee training in lubrication practices.
  5. Oil Analysis – to analyze samples for assessing the current lubricant status and checking if the use is optimal.
  6. Contamination Control – to control for any contaminant exposure to water and air by examining flushing practices, contamination control methods, and initial fill procedures. In particular, we pay attention to cross contamination as it can make a serious adverse impact on lubricant viscosity, which results in the equipment damage.
  7. Program Management – analyses in detail all procedures as well as the design of the facility’s lubrication system with an aim to improve efficiency.
  8. Goals & Metrics – examines goals and measurement methodology of facility's lubrication and overall goals of the facility.
  9. Safety Practices – focuses on current procedures and goals to ensure that all safety measures take place.
  10. Continuous Improvement – to cooperate with maintenance and reliability personnel and together set short and long-term goals for continual enhancement of the lubrication system.
